I thought he had one of his quieter games yesterday.

He was still better than Noble though.

Just imagine the furore on here if Nolan had missed that sitter instead of Noble.

True and the last bit made me chuckle.

Thought he did ok yesterday. In fact, I thought he was better than song, who was man utd's most creative player in the first hour.

Re: Drop that snail-paced useless lump of turd Nolan - NOW
Nolan should not have played yesterday but he got in from injuries I guess and then did OK. Statistically his passing was equal to Song's but not as good as Noble's.

When Nolan was scoring regularly he was worth a place but that has stopped happening for him. Had Reid and Ginge been available Kouyate in Nolan's place should have made a big difference. But would SA have kept Nolan in the side and dropped Noble or Song?

I'm beginning to think he would....

Nice so see you back on the thread. Anything to add on our previous discussion?

Re: Drop that snail-paced useless lump of turd Nolan - NOW
There was one moment in the second half where a Man Utd player beat Nolan to the ball after giving him a 5 yard start that was just pure TURD from Nolan.

Re: Drop that snail-paced useless lump of turd Nolan - NOW
Poyet was listed amongst those in the treatment room on Friday.
Was actually one of Nolan's better games but he was struggling at the end after taking a knock and adding additional legs in those last 10 mins seemed an obvious move.
Unfortunately the managers mind is clouded in these matters

Re: Drop that snail-paced useless lump of turd Nolan - NOW
He played well today, but well for him just meant he wasn't a total liability. You'd still only rate it 6 or 7 out of 10 but was as good as it gets.

He is a weak link and we have others who are capable of more impactful performances.

No complaints of Nolan today. But one showing where he's not a total disaster changes nothing. The guy isn't up to it anymore and shouldn't be in the team.

Re: Drop that snail-paced useless lump of turd Nolan - NOW
Did ok was still our least effective player
I also thought he got a knock and was blowing out his arse in the last half hour and should of come off
Does anyone know why poyet wasn't on the bench is he injured?

He was not decent.

He was just less shit than normal.

But he still was shit.

Agree, had a decent game and put a great ball through to Sakho as well as making De Gea pull off a last minute save.

He hasn't deserved his place but he was decent today. If that chance had been taken I'm pretty sure for once he'd get a little less grief from all the Pele's on this site.

Whilst I obviously wouldn't start him, I actually thought he did ok today. Should definitely make way if Reid/Collins are fit though. Doubt he will though.

Re: Drop that snail-paced useless lump of turd Nolan - NOW
thought he played well today, battled for everything in midfield winning most of them, even played a few good balls out wide to cresswell to and sakho, i know we dont have the highest expectations for nolan but id of been happy with a performance like that from most of our players, i know you are dissapointed by the late goal but dont let that overshadow what was a very good team performance, barring one of the best keepers in the world being on fine form we'd of been out of sight!
